Find your way around the dashboard
Where everything is: the menu on a computer, the bar at the bottom on a phone, and the four Setup pages.
Once you've signed in at app.diarybadger.com, you're in the dashboard. It works the same on a computer, tablet or phone: only the menu moves.
On a computer or tablet
The menu runs down the left: Diary, Clients, Takings, Activity, Setup, Share, Billing and Account. The light and dark switch and Sign out are at the bottom.
On a phone
The bar along the bottom has Diary, Clients, Takings, Setup and More. More has the rest: Activity, Share your booking page, Plan and billing, Account, the light and dark switch, and Sign out.
The Setup pages
Setup has four tabs across the top:
- Shop: your details, opening hours, pictures and booking rules, and the switches for online bookings, email alerts and (on Pro) reminder texts.
- Team: everyone who takes bookings, with their photos and hours.
- Services: what clients can book, with prices and lengths.
- Time off: holidays, closures and other times nobody can book.
Your trade's words
The dashboard and your booking page use your trade's words, like barber, stylist or instructor, depending on your type of business. This guide says "team member" for all of them.
